Controls Engineer

  Mobility is the goal Assume a lead role in the development and engineering support of electrical controls for the transit product line. Will develop and design new electrical solutions, support field installers, provide training to electrical team and prepare cost evaluations as required. Knowledge and understanding of PLC controls and programming is a must. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Good knowledge in the design of industrial automation systems, safety systems, and controllers. Proficiency in Codesys,  RSLOGIX, and/or structure text, and/or C++, or VB. Experience in the design of PLCs (ABB, Allen Bradley and/or Siemens), hands on experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS) is a plus. Proven expertise with PLC-based control systems and various communication protocols, including Ethernet IP, Remote I/O, ModBus TCP/IP and serial. Proven experience with software development and database technologies. Design Graphical User Interfaces HMI (Proface or Schneider) a plus. Strong analytical background with the ability to solve problems efficiently. Ability to quickly understand and utilize new technologies. Proven experience with validation process of new designs debugging, and troubleshooting. Controller commissioning: program start-up, debug and install of automation systems. Responsible for troubleshooting equipment and validating the control systems to ensure reliability in operating environments. Good planning and organization skills. Good written and verbal communication skills Good technical writing skills on engineering reports and system specifications toward fulfilling the scope of work set forth by the project manager/Customer. Develop technical scope of work documents and estimate time and resources needed for the controls aspect of projects. Excellent communication skills and able to provide remote engineering support Active participation in communicating and suggesting company goals. Communicate and provide status reports to management. Self-Motivated is a must     Mobility needs you Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering from an ABET accredited institution. 5+ years related experience and/or training. PLC software programming, Controls hardware design and configuration experience. Experience with control panel design and assembly equipment ideal but not required. Working knowledge and experience with electrical codes and safety standards ideal but not required. Office 365, advanced Excel user, ACAD experience for electrical drawings, E3 or similar ideal Travel required: up to 20%

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
